Recipe // Caprese Salad

We love the vibrancy and freshness of a caprese salad. And with this salad being so light, refreshing, and easy to make, this recipe has easily become one of our summertime staples.
The key to a great caprese salad is the quality of ingredients. With some freshly picked basil, fresh mozzarella, and quality balsamic vinegar, this salad is sure to impress.
For this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
+Fresh mozzarella ball
+Cherry tomatoes
+Fresh basil
+Balsamic vinegar
+Sea salt
+Olive oil
 To begin assembling your salad, halve the cherry tomatoes and set aside in a bowl.

Next, break apart the mozzarella into smaller pieces. You can chop the mozzarella with a knife, but we find that breaking it apart with your hands creates a much more organic look and feel. Add the mozzarella to the bowl of cherry tomatoes.

Afterwards, roughly cut the fresh basil and add to the bowl of tomatoes and mozzarella.

Finally, add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, a drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt, to taste.

Toss the salad and enjoy!
